ProLine DAT2 S is a complete backup and restore solution for networksof UNIX workstations, consisting of a 2-GB DAT tape drive subsystem andProServe S software.ProServe S is an OPEN LOOK application that makes backup easy withcomplete backup scheduling of multiple clients. Data recovery is aided byan online database of backed-up files and tapes. ProServe S is also up to300 percent faster than system utilities and supports simultaneous clientbackup and multiple concurrent tape drive operation for maximumperformance.Configured to work with five backup clients on a single tape server,ProLine DAT2 S can be enhanced to work with 25, 100, and 200 userswith ProServe S software upgrades. ProLine DAT2 S can be used withstandard SunOS tape utilities.
